The last big Samsung Unpacked event was in May in London and included the launch of the Galaxy S III $149.99 at Verizon Wireless smartphone. This time around, the rumor mill seems to believe Samsung's Berlin event is intended to show off the Galaxy Note II.
In June, Samsung insiders confirmed to GSMArena that the Galaxy Note II will feature a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED screen, as well as a design inspired by the Galaxy S III.
The current Note provides a 5.3-inch Super AMOLED HD display with a 16:10 screen ratio, which Samsung could change to 16:9 on the new, larger display.
Last month, T-Mobile announced plans to offer the original Galaxy Note, which - despite its large "phablet" size - has proven popular with many consumers around the world. The device was recently upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich.
Samsung's Berlin event kicks off at 7 p.m. local time; PCMag will be there, so stay tuned for all the details.
