The MySpace playlist comes automatically with every MySpace home page. However, it does take up a fair amount of room. MySpace has instructions for hiding it, but if you follow their instructions, it won’t play. Try these solutions to still be able to use the playlist:
1. At the bottom of your playlist, you’ll see a link that says "Manage Your Playlists". Click that.
2. On the "Manage Playlists" page, click on the link that says "My Profile Playlists".
3. In your playlist, you’ll see a little checkbox next to the words "Display On My Profile". Uncheck that, and your Playlist is gone.
Also, in the code at the bottom you should see the height and width of your player displayed. You can simply change those values to zero, and your Player will be gone

A new way to experience profiles: with or without replies

When you visit a Twitter user’s profile, you may want to see his or her original Tweets rather than their conversations. Then again, you may enjoy seeing the back-and-forth exchanges they have with other Twitter users. Now you can have it both ways.
When you visit the profiles of verified accounts, such as @bubbawatson, @NASCAR or @Pepsi, by default you will see their timeline of Tweets without replies: that is, you won’t see Tweets that begin with an @username. If you’d like to see all Tweets including replies, you can easily select “All” above the Tweets timeline on these profile pages.
This simplified profile, which we’re rolling out to verified accounts over the coming weeks, makes it easier to understand what kind of content the user shares on Twitter, and what Tweets you’ll see if you follow them. (Remember that replies on Twitter begin with an @username and are only seen by people who follow both the Tweet author and the @username at the beginning of the Tweet.)
Now you can quickly find out what your favorite musicians, athletes and brands are saying and doing, even if they frequently reply to others. And you can also continue to discover great moments on Twitter like when @MollyRingwald and @SalmanRushdie discussed following one another on Twitter.

We’re constantly working to make Twitter search the simplest way to discover what’s happening in real time. To that end, today we’re introducing search autocomplete and ‘People you follow’ search results to twitter.com. In addition to recent improvements like related query suggestions, spelling corrections and more relevant search results, these updates make it even easier to immediately get closer to the things you care about.

Search autocomplete shows you the most likely terms for your query as you enter it — especially useful if you’re trying to follow the hashtag for an event or you’re looking for a certain Twitter account. You can select your query from the drop-down menu even before you finish typing it.

After you enter your search, you’ll find the most relevant Tweets, articles, accounts, images and videos for your query. We’ve also made several other improvements to make your search experience better.

• Spelling corrections: If you misspell a term, we’ll automatically show results for your intended query.
• Related suggestions: If you search for a topic for which people use multiple terms, we will provide relevant suggestions for terms where the majority of that conversation is happening on Twitter.
• Results with real names and usernames: When you search for a name like ‘Jeremy Lin,’ you’ll see results mentioning that person’s real name and their Twitter account username.
• Results from people you follow: In addition to seeing ‘All’ or ‘Top’ Tweets for your search, you can also now see Tweets about a given topic from only the people you follow when you select the ‘People you follow’ view. Viewing Tweets about a topic from just the people you follow is a great way to find useful information and join the conversation.

Twitter for Android and iPhone

The Twitter app for Android and iOS devices has been updated to version 3.3 and 4.3 respectively. One of the biggest additions to the app is content previews. Tweets with links are expanded to give the reader a better glimpse at the content, similar to how Twitter shows previews for images. The app will now show snippets from Etsy, Kickstarter, Vimeo, and others. Notifications have also been improved. Users now have the option to get a notification whenever a certain twitter user tweets. The search and autocomplete have also gotten improvements and the iOS version of the app now has a better layout to track hashtags.

The Twitter blog states, “Since we introduced expanded Tweets on twitter.com, we’ve added several new partners like MLB and C-SPAN to a diverse and growing list of media sources. Starting today, you can also expand Tweets on Twitter for iPhone and Twitter for Android. When you tap a Tweet linking to a Kickstarter project, for example, you can play its video directly from the Tweet details view in your app. You can also read article summaries when you tap Tweets linking to sources like The Atlantic or play videos or view images when you expand Tweets linking to websites like Etsy and Vimeo. This new experience will roll out gradually to web, iPhone and Android users.”

Twitter notches up 400 million tweets a day, gets new logo

According to Twitter CEO Dick Costolo, the micro-blogging site sends more than 400 million tweets every day! Costolo also revealed that both mobile usage and revenue were surpassing desktops.

In an interview at the Economist's Ideas Economy: Information 2012 conference, Costolo said that majority of Twitter users accessed the website via mobile, and were far more active than desktop users. Explaining why Twitter is more successful on mobile, the CEO said, “"because tweets are 140 characters, and born of mobile and constrained that way, when we designed the ad platform our ads would go everywhere tweets go, and the only way is if the ads are tweets.”

Costolo added that Twitter's mobile advertising was doing really well, but didn't shared any figures. He said that the company had already launched an ad platform on web, but mobile revenues have been higher than non-mobile platform. On speculations of Twitter IPO, Costolo said that he is not focussing on it and that he accorded high priority to the company and the product right now.

Last month, Twitter's vice president of products, Satya Patel, revealed that the company was churning out 340 million tweets a day and aiming to expand global user base to two billion users.

Separately, Twitter rolled out a new “Twitter Bird”, which will be the new trademark symbol for the micro-blogging site.

“Our new bird grows out of love for ornithology, design within creative constraints, and simple geometry. This bird is crafted purely from three sets of overlapping circles — similar to how your networks, interests and ideas connect and intersect with peers and friends,” Twitter says in a blog post.To learn more about the new trademark, visit the Twitter brand resources page.

There's something interesting to note about the screen that you land on:

"When you change your password for Windows Live Hotmail, you're also changing it for all your Windows Live based services."

Note that it stopped talking about Hotmail. This is your Windows Live account.
Why does that matter?
Because your Windows Live account is used for all Windows Live services including Hotmail, Messenger Spaces and more. When you change your password for Windows Live Hotmail, you're also changing it for all your Windows Live based services.
