Any windows OS slows down with usage, once you have installed a lot of
programs it may some times take upto 2min to start. But once its
completely started you wouldn't have too many problems.
The load time maybe a little slower than at first. ( you shouldn't open any software , or explorer as soon as you see the desktop screen after you log on, give a few more seconds to completely startup)
If you think the above passage doesn't addressyour problem then, your problem could be one or more of the following:
1) Your core is the minimum requirement to run windows 7 , so you'll need a better core.
2) Too many start up programs* , slow down your computer terribly sometimes.
3) Your graphic settings may be too high, the windows 7 's aero theme burns system resources
4) You may have virus in your system , viruses can slow down the system
5) Your Graphics card is in the lower end, it may not be able to handle your graphic quality setting
6) A Fragmented drive , a heavily fragmented drive increases load time
