BSNL is a government company. It was derived from the telecom department
of India. Alike all government departments, BSNL too has retrieved the
bad work culture of government. If you want it to get it done by BSNL
you need to put a lot of effort into it. It may or may not occur at the
desired time. Much of depends on luck and the person in charge. There
are rare personalities in BSNL who know how to do their work. But all
may not be lucky enough to meet him. One of the main advantages of
Unlimited plans is the peace of mind it gives to the user. If take a 100
people who is using unlimited plans 90 of the choose it because of fear
of errenous bill. When I was writing this I could hardly find a reason that is the demerit of this plan. If you are in unlimited plan, you definitely have a low speed but you get more time to seed. The speed will be 20 - 25 or 50 - 55 KBps. But you have 24 hours to seed and maintain a good ratio.
Normally people confuse themselves with download. Those who just browse think that they are not downloading anything and is safe from billing errors. If you browse for one hour, it will cost you around 20 MB. And the bandwidth is calculated as upload + download. In unlimited plan , you can download and upload as much as you can. Hence it is a boon for heavy browser.
It doesn't mean that we cannot download in Unlimited plans. I too have UL 750, the slowest of UL plans and even then I am able to download movie. Only thing you need is patience. Just give it some time and everything will be right. Various unlimited plans are
